Alyssa New Pics (1+ month)

Today would have been Alyssa's actual due date but as it is, she is now 5 weeks old.  She's been eating very well and gaining lots of weight.  She's up to 8lbs now which is great considering she went home at 5lbs .5oz.  


Sister Caitlyn joined in on the pictures with baby Alyssa.  Aren't they adorable? 

Caitlyn's Picture Day

It was picture day last Tuesday at Caitlyn's pre-school and of course, picture day brings out the best in our little princess. Here she models her red Minnie Mouse outfit.
She's developing that look that will make daddy keep a close eye on her.

My New House!

Check out my new house! I'm currently in process of working with a well known award winning custom home designer to design my new dream home. Richard White of The White House Collection has designed many amazing homes for the Portland Street of Dreams and I have been fortunate to be able to work with Rick and Candi on our new home.As you can see from the concept elevation image above, it is truly going to be an amazing home. Five-car garage (1 for a boat), indoor basketball court, double-edged infinity pool, grand entrance, circular driveway, skybridge...basically the works. I recently bought a 1+ acre lot on the historic SE Evergreen Hwy in Vancouver that has amazing views of the Columbia River, Portland lights and the Portland airport.

As you can see, the foot print of the home is amazing and that's just the main floor! There's a upper level and a lower "game room/movie theater" area. I can't wait to start taking pictures during the construction and share with everyone on my blog. I'll keep you posted so check back soon!

More Pics from NICU

Alyssa had her feeding tube in for almost 2 weeks to ensure that she was getting enough milk. Hard to imagine but she looks so peaceful even with a tube through her nose and down her stomach.

If you look carefully, you'll see the peach fuzz on Alyssa's shoulder. She's got a very hair back!

This is the day after she got her feedin tube out and getting ready to go home. At this point she is waking up.

My Preemie is Home!

Alyssa came home last Thursday after 13 days in the NICU. She's doing well and is very healthy.
Mai think she looks like me, what do you think? I think wayyyyyy cuter! (Alyssa that is)

So far, she's been an angel and Caitlyn is very caring for her younger sister. She's always wanting to help out and care for Alyssa so we are very happy about that. Hopefully we can as parents continue to show love to both children evenly without dividing our attention too much. So far so good...
